Singers Analogy of the Day
Think of your body as a wind instrument such as a flute or clarinet. We blow into the instrument to make sound and we press the buttons to make the pitch. For singers we need the breath to carry the sound and our mouth positions control the pitch.
Singing Tip: The tongue can get in the way of our singing. Proper positioning of the tongue should lay flat with the tip of the the tongue resting behind the bottom front teeth.
